Note from the Founder

I am a dreamer. I believe that we can materialize that dream if we truly work hard to make it happen. My father, a visionary leader and teacher Professor A.M.M. Mujibul Haq who was the founder of the first Women’s Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh believed a women can provide equal support to her family if she is educated, My mother Mrs  Nurun Nahar who was a teacher, a writer believed women are the backbone of a family and can be politically and socially astute as a man. Lastly my husband Dr. Al-Tariq who always thinks nothing is impossible if your heart and mind are in sync. My whole family has been my rock, my pillar of strength and the trail blazers in my life. My friends and neighbors have educated me on various social aspects of life.

I love to read, paint, cook, bake, and socialize. I want to bring joy to the elderly, the orphans, and the people who are deprived and suffering. I want to learn and be a better version of myself each and every day. I am not perfect, but I like to strive for perfection.

Lastly and most importantly I love my Creator Allah SWT for giving me the opportunity to work for humanity.
